Burn Survivor Support

Many burn survivors say that one of the most significant influences in their recovery comes from meeting others who have similar experiences of pain and suffering and are now leading meaningful lives after their burn injury. As a burn injury is a life-long injury these meetings provide an opportunity for burn survivors, their families and friends to gather, share their stories and bond knowing that there are others who have had a similar experience.

In my massage practice, I am reminded daily of the triumph of human spirit and the connection we all share with each other. Working with burn survivors is my passion. As a survivor, it is my hope that this page will provide a venue for healing, support and encouragement.

The Spiegel Burn Foundation (
http://www.spiegelburnfoundation.com)  provides support and services to help transform burn victims into courageous, empowered Survivors. As a private nonprofit foundation [501(c)(3) registered], 100% of the donations we collect are used to provide grants and support for research to help people move past trauma and continue their lives as valued individuals. Both survivors and their caregivers benefit from the educational and emotional support of our resources–and your help goes a long way towards healing scars that can't even be seen.
